Sigid: Antasari Usul Jebak Rhani di Pesta Narkoba, Nasrudin Dipukuli

Terdakwa Sigid Haryo Wibisono memberi kesaksian yang memberatkan Antasari Azhar. Menurut Sigit, Antasari sempat mengusulkan agar istri siri Nasrudin, Rhani Juliani dijebak terlibat pesta narkoba. Sedangkan Nasrudin dipukuli dan mobilnya ditabrak.

Demikian kesaksian Sigid dalam sidang pembunuhan Nasrudin Zulkarnaen dengan terdakwa Antasari di Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Jakarta Selatan, Jalan Ampera Raya, Jakarta, Kamis (5/11/2009).

Dalam kesaksiannya, Sigid menceritakan sejumlah pertemuannya dengan Antasari. Dikatakan dia, Antasari menyambangi kediamannya di Jalan Pati Unus pada awal Januari 2009.

"Beliau mengeluh ke saya. Katanya pada saat beliau di Bali, dia dan keluarganya mendapat teror melalui telepon. Waktu itu dia bilang, peneror itu Nasrudin. Sedangkan istrinya diteror oleh seorang perempuan yang mengaku sebagai istrinya Nasrudin. Tetapi, dia tidak cerita nama perempuan itu," papar Sigid yang terbalut baju batik ini.

Pada pertemuan kedua, kata Sigid, Antasari masih mengeluh adanya teror. "Saya sarankan untuk melapor ke Kapolri," ujarnya.

Sigid mengaku bertemu intens dengan Antasari sekitar akhir Februari 2009. "Di situ Pak Antasari bercerita kalau dia sudah melapor ke Kapolri dan sudah dibentuk tim yang diketuai Kombes Pol Chairul Anwar. Tugas dari tim itu untuk mencari identitas Nasrudin," kata Sigid.

Beberapa kali Sigid, Antasari dan Chairul bertemu di rumah Sigid untuk elaporkan hasil mengikuti Nasrudin. Ada berupa foto, kegiatan Nasrudin, dan juga ada identitas Rhani.

"Pada saat itu, Antasari tetap mengusulkan agar dicari jalan lain untuk enghentikan teror ini. Sempat ada usulan agar Rhani dijebak terlibat dalam sebuah pesta narkoba. Salah satu anggota tim juga ada yang menyamar ingin masuk menjadi member golf," papar dia.

Selain itu, menurut Sigid, Antasari mengusulkan agar Nasrudin dipukuli dan itabrak mobilnya. "Tetapi, Pak Antasari tetap menginginkan dicarikan pidananya," kata Sigid.

Antasari tampak menyimak kesaksian Sigid dan sesekali dia enggeleng-gelengkan kepala.

To recap: on Tuesday a hidden message was detected in a note accompanying a veto Governor Schwarzenegger sent to California Assemblyman Tom Ammiano. When read like an acrostic poem, the first seven letters in seven consecutive lines spelled out "FU*K YOU." The message was not without precedent -- earlier Ammiano had told the governor to "kiss my gay ass."

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Schwarzenegger insisted "That was a total coincidence. It was one of those wild coincidences."

How likely is that? According to Stephen Devlin, the chair of the math department at the University of San Francisco, not very. The odds are one in 10 million he said, and added, "Not surprisingly, it's virtually impossible for this to happen."

Giant 'Sea Monster' Skull Found in England

Dinosaur experts in Dorset, England, are examining the fossilized skull of a sea monster so large they say it could have eaten a Tyrannosaurus rex for breakfast.

The fossil head is 8 feet long, suggesting that the beast measured up to 54 feet from the tip of its massive, crocodile-like snout to the end of its muscular tail, making it one of the largest specimens ever found.

The skull belongs to a pliosaur, one of a group of giant aquatic reptiles which roamed the warm seas over what is now southern Britain 150 million years ago.

It was spotted protruding from an unstable patch of cliff by Kevan Sheehan, a local fossil hunter, after being exposed by a rockfall. He spent four years going back day after day and painstakingly managed to uncover it.

Experts hope that the rest of the pliosaur's body may lie hidden in the cliff, equally well preserved. The exact spot, in the 95 mile stretch of coastline dubbed the Jurassic Coast, is being kept secret to deter amateur hunters.

"Pliosaur skulls are very big, but not that robust, in general, and you tend to find them crushed flat — completely pancaked," Richard Forrest, an expert on plesiosaurs told the BBC.

"What is fantastic about this new skull, not only is it absolutely enormous, but it is pretty much in 3D and not much distorted.

7 Reasons to Stick with Windows XP

Windows 7 has arrived! Huzzah! But wait; if you're still rocking Windows XP, you might want to think twice before upgrading. Here are some reasons to stick with an old OS.

1. Updating will be a huge pain

You do realize that you can't just pop in the disc and install the OS, right? Coming from XP, you're going to need to backup all of your data, format your hard drive, install a clean version of Windows 7, and then start from scratch, reinstalling all of your old programs—and that's assuming Old Faithful even meets the system requirements. Sounds delightful!

2. Software investment

How many programs do you have installed? You're going to have to reinstall all of them. Do you have all of your install discs handy? And I hope you haven't lost any CD Keys! Do you still have all of your downloaded installer executables? Feel like finding them or redownloading them? Because that's what you're going to have to do. And as far as new programs go, you do realize that almost all new software is still compatible with XP, right?

3. Most of what you use your computer for doesn't need an upgrade

What do you do on your computer? Surf the internet, maybe use some office programs? I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that Windows XP has been handling such duties just fine for you. So why upgrade? For shiny new aesthetics? For a fancier taskbar? For juggling 22 devices? You don't need that.

4. It's expensive

Do you have $120+ to burn? Because that's how much upgrading will cost you unless you use the $30 college-kid discount. Why not put that money in savings or use it to pay off a credit-card bill, like a grown up?

5. You can wait for SP1

Every OS has bugs when it's first released, and even if 7 isn't the shitshow that Vista was, it'll surely need some patching up once the masses get their hands on it. You won't get any bonus points for being an early-adopter. Why not play it safe and, if you do decide to upgrade, hold out for Service Pack 1?

6. Microsoft will keep supporting XP for a while

Tons of people (including you) still use XP, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Because of that, Microsoft has no choice but to continue supporting it, releasing security patches and the like. You don't need to upgrade in order to get such benefits.

7. You'll buy a new computer eventually

You won't have your current computer forever, especially if you bought it long enough ago to come pre-loaded with XP. Since installing a new OS is one of the most risky and frustrating things you can do with your computer, you might as well just hold out until you buy a new one. It'll have Windows 7 pre-installed on a clean drive, allowing you to start from scratch.

If you're running Vista, however, you should by all means upgrade. What are you, crazy? Upgrade!

Avanza 1.300 cc Versi Matik Keluar November

Setelah Daihatsu mengumumkan akan mengeluarkan Xenia versi Matik , PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) sepertinya tidak mau ketinggalan dengan meluncurkan versi matik dari multi purpose vihicle (MPV) andalan mereka yakni Avanza.

Karena bila sebelumnya hanya Avanza dengan kapasitas mesin 1.500 cc yang memiliki tipe matik, di bulan November mendatang Avanza dengan kapasitas mesin 1.300 cc pun juga akan ada versi matiknya.

Waktu peluncuran Avanza 1.3 liter versi matik ini sendiri dipastikan tidak akan jauh dari waktu peluncuran saudaranya yakni Daihatsu Xenia telah direncanakan akan keluar pada 18 November mendatang.

"Tidak akan jauh dari saudaranya (Xenia) deh," ungkap Marketing Communication Department Head TAM Achmad Rizal kepada detikOto, Senin (19/10/2009).

Dengan hadirnya Avanza 1.300 cc versi matik ini, varian yang selama ini menjadi tulang punggung penjualan Toyota di Indonesia tentu akan semakin 'menjajah' pasar mobil Indonesia.
