35 Things You Absolutely MUST Agree Upon Before Getting Married
Heck, that's even the name of one relationship book. With all due respect to the experts, I think they may want to work on that list a little bit. Sure, those are all important. But what about the things carefully designed to drive husbands and wives up the wall and right through the ceiling? The tiny beard hairs left in the sink after a shave? The plates placed willy nilly in the dishwasher? Come on, ladies and gentlemen! It's time to settle the debates a couple absolutely must have before the wedding:
1. Does the toilet paper go over or under the roll?
2. Cats? Dogs? Both?
3. Can you eat breakfast for dinner?
4. Cold pizza: yes or no?
5. Is it acceptable to open presents as they arrive or do you have to wait for the actual birthday or holiday?
6. Should the dirty forks and knives go in the dishwasher with the handle sticking out of the utensil tray or down in the utensil tray?
7. Is it acceptable to leave dishes in the sink to "soak" overnight, or do they need to be cleaned before bed?
8. Toothpaste: cap on or cap off?
9. Again on the toothpaste: roll it from the bottom or just squeeze really hard?
10. Are towels a one-time use item or do you use the same towel until laundry day?
11. How about washcloths?
12. Road trip or flying?
13. What's the right thread count for sheets?
14. What brand of toilet paper?
15. Mayo or Miracle Whip?
16. Pepsi or Coke?
17. Can you eat the holiday candy out in the display bowl or must it be left there for display?
18. What is YOUR definition of camping?
19. Turn the thermostat down when you go out or leave it alone?
20. At what point is a garbage bag too full to stuff more trash in it?
21. How many times is it acceptable to hit the snooze button?
22. Thrift store shopping: great deals or gross?
23. How far in advance is it OK to plan a vacation?
24. Restaurant reservations: necessary or too restrictive?
25. Roller coasters: love 'em or hate 'em?
26. More chocolate chips, less cookie or more cookie, less chips?
27. How much orange juice must be left in the container for it to be returned to the fridge?
28. Chip clips or just roll the bag up?
29. Call the doctor or just take some medicine at home?
30. Where is the prime location for the TV remote to stay?
31. Is it OK to have a TV in the bedroom?
32. Should folded clothes be put away, or is it OK to just pull as needed from the basket of clean laundry?
33. Do you need to write a grocery list or just wait until you're walking around the store to figure out what you need?
34. Making the bed: must-do or waste of time because you're just going to get back in it?
35. Is it OK to shave/clip toenails in the living room?
See? So many issues, so little time to get them straightened out before you're grumbling about that dishwasher.
All right, weigh in: what drives you batty about your partner that you wish you'd settled before the wedding?

With New Social App Swoon, People Discovery Is a Thumb-Flick Away
I’m talking about Swoon, a new, real-world, Android-based discovery app, created by the social company Tagged, which launched on Friday morning. The concept is about as simple as it gets: Connect your Facebook profile to the app, and you’re up and running with a Swoon profile filled out from that data. From there, you’re presented with cards of different people using the service, complete with big, bold pictures and their profile details below.
Like them? Hit the check mark to say you’re interested in meeting them. Not your cup of tea? Tap the “X” box to move on to the next person. If the other person wants to meet you too, Swoon will connect you two. If not, nothing happens. Easy as that.
If it sounds familiar, that’s because it is. Right now, another slickly designed social discovery app called Tinder is basically doing the exact same thing. And Let’s Date, the app released last month from Los Angeles-based incubator Science, is also offering a similar service, though with the express intent of setting people up on dates. (Tinder and Swoon only profess to help you find “interesting new people.”)
But it goes back much further than that. Remember “Hot or Not”? Launched in 2000, it was the original social network, where users were presented with a picture and a single choice — is this person hot, or not? (Even Mark Zuckerberg was influenced by it, creating a similar version of the site using photos from schoolmates back in his Harvard days.)
That’s exactly why the Swoons, Tinders and Let’s Dates of the world are so potentially addicting. Perhaps you’ll actually meet someone new, or perhaps you’ll just have fun looking at all the pretty (and not so pretty) people, checking off which ones you like and flicking away the others. The point is that it’s fast as hell, a single-serving app that carries out its purpose.
That’s unlike, say, one beefy app that can do a bunch of different things. “We’re transforming from being used to single, multi-use-case apps into multiple, single-use apps,” Greg Tseng, CEO of Tagged, said in an interview. “Just take a look at the simplicity of Instagram.”
Tseng’s comparison is interesting. Facebook has launched multiple stand-alone apps over the past year — Poke, Camera, Messenger and the acquired Instagram — some of which offer features that are already inside the main Facebook app. And now Twitter has Vine, a standalone video app, and also plans to soon launch a music-centric app as well.
My theory here: All of these services — Facebook, Twitter and Tagged — have smaller, satellite apps surrounding their main services. If they can bring in new users via these single-use-case apps and get them to start using the main service, then that’s a net win for everyone.
Tagged is going after the Android market first, launching in the Google Play store beginning immediately. More Tagged users are on Android over iOS at a ratio of 2 to 1, and apps like Tinder and Let’s Date are iOS only right now. But expect another release for iOS in the future.

The Lock of Love
![]() |
| Bridge in Cologne |
The symbolic gesture is meant to represent "unbreakable love", with couples showing their commitment by throwing away the key.
The craze started in the Hungarian city of PECS in the 1980s and has now reached the UK.
Parts of LONDON'S Tower Bridge are plastered with the padlocks while they adorn a fence in a GLASGOW park.
Some romantic souls also leave letters to their lovers or engrave a message on the locks.
In MOSCOW, a tree has been covered, while killjoy officials in PARIS have banned them from the Pont Des Arts bridge because they are too heavy.
Bridges in RIGA, Latvia, and COLOGNE, Germany, are also full of the love tokens.

Cougars Die Young, Sugar Daddies Live Longer
Dailymail.co.uk - His baby face and taut torso may make her the envy of her friends. But a toyboy husband could send a woman to an early grave.Research shows that women who tie the knot with younger men tend to die before their time. And the younger her beloved is, the harder it is on her health.
Men, on the other hand appear to thrive when they marry someone younger. In fact, the more youthful his wife, the longer a man lives.
The finding will be a shock to growing numbers of 'cougars' - middle-aged
The disparity was revealed by an analysis of the marriage and death records of two million Dutch men and women.
It showed that men who marry younger women live longer than those who choose a spouse of their own age.
For instance, a man with a wife seven to nine years his junior - often nicknamed a 'sugar daddy' - is 7 per cent less likely to die at any given time than one who picks a woman of the same age.
And the bigger the age gap, the longer his life. In contrast, a woman who snags a man seven to nine years younger is 20 per cent more likely to die than one who tied the knot with a chap of her own age.
And for any woman 'lucky' enough to marry a man more than 15 years younger, the risk soars to 30 per cent, say the findings, reported in the journal Demography.
The researchers from Germany's Max Planck Institute for Demographic-Research said it is not clear why marrying a toyboy is so bad for a woman's health.
But they believe men benefit from having a much younger wife because she will be able to nurse her husband as he ages.
She is also more likely to broaden her husband's social circle and interests, boosting his mental and physical health.
And it could be a man has to be healthier - and wealthier - than average to attract a much younger woman in the first place.
At the same time, women may shorten their lives by marrying a toyboy because their husband is likely to be less willing to nurse them through old age.
Researcher Sven Drefahl, said: 'The greater the age difference, the lower the wife's life expectancy.
'The best choice for a woman is to marry a man of exactly the same age.'

How to Score Points With Her
From the moment she meets you, she starts a virtual bank account in her mind. But you’d never know. She’s adding and subtracting with a pro poker face, using a complex labyrinth of mathematical axioms in which you have emotional credits or debits. You have no clue until you reach an extreme — you find yourself locked out on the front porch or you get handed a fistful of get-out-of-jail-free cards. What are some of the moves that will keep you out of the red? 1. Brag about her, at earshot. Whether it’s her lasagna or her ability to talk herself out of a parking ticket, give her props even if she has her back to you a couple feet away. She may look engrossed with her conversation, but believe me, one ear is always cocked in your direction.
2. Don’t notice that pretty girl in the room. Don’t use the mirror to catch a glimpse, steal a gander when your girl is looking through her bag or pretend you were looking behind her. If there is anyone she feels is competition (or is showing an inordinate amount of cleavage) your girl will track your eyeball coordinates with the precision of a nuclear submarine. Get points by looking blank when she mentions said female later, “I didn’t notice, why?” can only be pulled off with perfection if you used all the strength in your second X chromosome not to glance at the blonde with the heaving breasts a few feet away. Cha-ching.
3. Rather than rummaging under the car seat for quarters to make that five bucks she needs for gas, give her a ten “just in case” and don’t sweat the change. Sure, you might give up your double shot caramel grande because of it. But suck it up cappuccino-boy, because this will give you Trump-like credit for later.
4. She’s crying. Maybe it’s the movie trailer, a movie ending, a commercial with a kitten in it, her grandmother’s funeral, or just that time of the month. As she’s starting to look like Alice Cooper and the black mascara is dripping off her chin, tell her she is still beautiful to you when she cries. Even if you are lying.
5. Be a gentleman: Get up and go get the check rather than complain about the waitress. Fix the unstable table with a napkin. When she drops her fork, give her yours then you ask for a replacement (only if it’s clean, don’t lick it, wipe it off on her jeans and pass it to her). Taking care of things around mealtime – especially in public – holds a lot of weight, so try to pay attention (no matter have ravenous you are).
All this should be done with a very devil-may-care attitude. In fact continue talking as if nothing is happening.

Online Dating Couple Were Neighbors For 17 Years!

When a British teacher joined an online dating agency to find a husband, she found love much closer to home than she could have ever expected - in the same street!
46-year-old Julie McIlroy, looked through thousands of pictures of eligible men on the online dating site, before finally spotting father-of-two Allan Donnelly.
Julie and Allan had no idea they were neighbors and had been living in the same street for the past 17 years!
“I thought he looked nice so I sent him a message and he emailed me back. We started emailing for a couple of weeks and I discovered that Allan was from
“Then I found out we both lived in the Rhiwbina area of the city - but even that’s a big place” she added.
e street, and had even seen each other from a distance, but never actually met face-to-face!
“I was totally stunned,” she said. “It’s an incredible co-incidence but it just goes to show that you never know where you will find love.”
The couple began dating and later went on holidays to
“I had been on the dating site for a while when I hooked up with Julie. It was an amazing co-incidence that we live so close to each other, What were the chances of that?” he said. “But it was my lucky day - we’ve got the perfect compatibility. She’s right up my street.”

Hak Prerogatif Laki-Laki

1. ANDA SERIUS, DIA MENGUAP
John M. Gottman, penulis The Even Principle for Making Marriage Work, mengatakan bahwa kebanyakan lelaki menguap karena dia merasa santai. Jadi tidak ada hubungannya dengan Anda.
